Little Giant Pump Company
Little Giant Pump Company's origins date back to 1941, when an
idea by a plumber named Doc Wolfe became the world's first
submersible electric motor-driven pump - the answer to the problem
of water transfer in "swamp" evaporative coolers, a forerunner of
modern refrigerated air conditioning. Called "a submersible
vaporizer," this unique, patented pump design became the
cornerstone for the hundreds of different pump models Little Giant
Pump Company manufactures and ships worldwide today.
In fact, derivatives of that basic "self-contained electric motor-driven
submersible pump" have become the standard for quality and
reliability in water transfer applications throughout the world.
Little Giant's strength has always been its mission: to solve
problems with innovation, quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Every activity of the company, every piece of equipment, every
innovation, is directed solely toward that end.
Little Giant Pump Company's comprehensive line now includes
wastewater pumps, sump, effluent and sewage pumps,
dewatering/trash pumps, condensate pumps, magnetic drive
pumps, low pressure sewer systems, water garden pumps and
products, and a wide variety of utility pumps.
Little Giant Pump Company's 180,000 square foot Distribution
Center is the heart of the distribution process, designed specifically
to handle orders in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
Few companies in the world can match it for speed, accuracy and
cost-effectiveness.
Recently Little Giant introduced the world's smallest, most versatile
condensate pumps - the EC-400, for mini-split air conditioning and
heating systems, especially where gravity drainage is not practical
or desirable. Contractors are now freed from having to install
mini-split system on outside walls, forced to use gravity to drain
away the condensate.
The EC-400's compact two-piece design lets contactors/installers
put the pump/control unit up to 3' above the reservoir/condensate
detection unit - in the air handler, in the trunking, in the ceiling void.
The fully automatic, ultra-quiet EC-400 draws only 0.4 watts in
standby, making it the most energy-efficient mini-split condensate
pump in existence. Perfect for room and area heating/cooling on
interior walls and/or where gravity drainage is not practical.
A comprehensive product line... constant innovation... the highest quality
standards... cost-effective pricing... and an organization that is totally dedicated
to customer service... these are the tools that have made Little Giant one of the
most successful companies in the industry, and will insure the company's
success in the future.
