Regular contractor grade suction hose - male by female short shank coupling connects to any Standard thread 1 1/2 inch suction port.
Comes assembled with a female short shank Standard thread 1 1/2 inch fitting at the pump end and a male fitting at the other end for connection to a 1 1/2 inch strainer.
Short shank connector is made from aluminim and has a brass nut (designed to withstand being run over - should bend but not break).
